Register ASAP to secure your spot in one of the coolest traditions in town.
Thanks For Giving.
A sincere thank you to those who donated to our Giving Tuesday pledge drive. Because of your support, we're able to continue to provide essential information and homegrown entertainment to the Wimberley Valley.
If you haven't yet contributed, there's still time. Making charitable contributions before year-end can lower your taxable income for the current year, maximizing the impact of your giving while reducing your tax bill. It’s also a great time to support the organizations you care about as they plan for the year ahead. Just click the button below, or stop by the studio. And thank you!

Our non-profit highlight this month is Meals on Wheels, which provides nutritious meals and wellness checks to homebound residents in our valley.
Our KWVH Volunteer of the Month is Roger Alan Polson, who co-hosts Over Easy with Coach and is a Central Texas Radio legend!

Texans Continue Their Winning Ways

The Wimberley Texan football and volleyball teams have received a whole trove of honors for their 2025 campaigns. Eight volleyball players, as well as head coach Misty Fletcher Remmers, have been honored with spots on the District 26-4A All-District Team. And a whopping 21 football players were recognized with District 13-4A-II honors.
Meanwhile, on the hardwood, the boys hoops team took first place in the Aransas Pass Battle of the Bay tournament, winning five games in three days.
And let's hear it for the speech and debate team, placing third out of 28 schools in the Spring High School tournament over the weekend.
Well done, TEXANS!!!

Salute Our Veteran of the Week

VFW Post 6441 and KWVH salute Staff Sergeant Richard Mabee, United States Air Force. From 1966 to 1973, Sgt. Mabee served around the world—Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, and bases across the U.S. He was a dedicated F-4 Phantom Crew Chief, keeping one of America’s most iconic jet fighters mission-ready.
After his Air Force service, Richard built an impressive 18-year career as a cabinetmaker, crafting wood with the same precision he brought to the flight line. He later turned his eye to photography, a passion he still pursues today.
Since 2005, Richard has called Wimberley home and is a proud member of VFW Post 6441.
