Here's the Latest Hays County Road Construction Update.

Hays County and TXDOT construction crews are finishing up work on RM 3237. Crews were finishing up the widening and striping near Flite Acres Road last week, and this morning they'll reduce traffic to one lane near Rogers Road. The traffic shift is scheduled to take place between 9 am through 3 pm.
As always, work is contingent upon weather conditions.

Further east on 3237, road crews are restriping the roadway between River Mountain Road and Deer Run Estates. They're also widening RM 3237 at River Mountain Road and Camino De Rancho Road to add shoulders and accommodate some much-needed turn lanes.
Long story short -- if you're headed towards Kyle and points beyond -- be careful, slow down, and give those road crews a wide berth. And get used to it... the entire project won't be completed until this summer. The full list of Hays County road projects is here.
Submit YOUR Artwork for KWVH's 10th Anniversary!

KWVH is celebrating 10 years with a special design competition! We’re looking for a limited-edition graphic for t-shirts and posters, and we want your creativity to shine. This is your chance to leave a mark on Wimberley’s history!
The contest is open to everyone
Submission deadline is March 15
Winning design is announced April 1
This anniversary honors a decade since the 2015 Memorial Day floods, the event that led to KWVH’s founding. Built in response to crisis, our station has since become a trusted community voice—delivering emergency updates, local culture, entertainment, and Wimberley pride.
Wimberley Texans Continue Their Winning Ways

Here's to a terrific run by the Lady Texan hoops team. They fell to the Cuero Gobblers in the Area playoffs last week, but not before clinching the 4A Bi-District championship.
Congratulations to the 24 Wimberley High student musicians who qualified for the State UIL solo and ensemble competitions. They'll compete at the state level in late May.
Meanwhile, the girls soccer team continues their winning ways. They've posted a 13-1-1 record overall, and lead the district with a 2-0-1 record. They visit the Bandera Bulldogs on Tuesday night, and the Fredericksburg Billies at home this Friday.
Lots going on with the Texans as we glide into the last few months of the school year. Let's finish strong!
