Help WISD, and This Month's KWVH State Farm Good Neighbor Volunteer

WISD Wants Your Input!

The Wimberley Independent School District is seeking volunteers to serve on two committees: the Ambassador Task Force and the Facility Needs Task Force. This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact for our students, faculty, and staff.

The Ambassador Task Force will involve community members learning about district challenges and advocating for public school needs, particularly addressing Texas' $4 billion in withheld school funding to support public education in the state.

The Facility Needs Task Force will evaluate school infrastructure and provide recommendations and priorities for improvements.

WISD encourages community participation in these efforts, emphasizing excellence, innovation, and service. If you're interested in serving on either of these committees, send the district an email

Texans Keep on Winning!

Texan Athletics continue to dominate. On Friday, the football team dominated the Fredericksburg Billies 35-9. On that same evening, the Lady Texan volleyball team swept the Burnet Bulldogs 3-0.

The volleyball team faces the Lockhart Lions tomorrow night at home, while the football team begins a three-game road trip at LBJ Austin.

Go Texans!
