Friday: Snow Brothers
Then, this Sunday at 8pm, Jazz Lines host Jim Trussell talks with guitarist Ric Molina. Incredible!
And last but not least, "Crossroads with Bruce Cook," KWVH's signature blues show, expands to two hours on Monday night from 8 to 10pm.
If you can't listen live, check out our archives -- available on our website and our app. What an incredible start to 2026 for your hometown radio station!
Texans Keep Rolling!

The 22-2 Wimberley Texans boys hoops team is back in action tonight, as they battle Gonzales at home at 6:30pm. Meanwhile, the never-quit girls basketball team will play tomorrow at home against Davenport.
The 4-1-1 girls soccer team has matches on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and boys soccer picks up again on Saturday.
And hats off to Carys Boling and Nathan Valley, who placed in the top 20 at the UIL Congress State Meet. And the first UIL and TFA meet in Waco was a teriffic success, with the Texan team winning the Speech Sweepstakes, along with a slew of individual placements.
Let's go TEXANS!
Road Work On Pleasant Valley Road Beginning

The Hays County Transportation Department has announced a temporary closure of a section of Pleasant Valley Road, beginning Tuesday, January 13, through Friday, January 16.
The construction will repair the low-water crossing near 110 Pleasant Valley Road. During this time, a signed traffic detour will route motorists from Pleasant Valley Road to Woodacre Drive, then Deer Ridge Road, and on to Golfcrest Drive (see map).
Plan some extra time if you travel in that area!
Wimberley Showcasing
Resilient Communities Plan
The City of Wimberley is inviting residents, business owners, and community members to take part in reviewing the final draft of the Comprehensive Plan Update and One Water Study. The process is focused on protecting what makes Wimberley special while planning thoughtfully for the next 20 years.
A town hall and comprehensive plan showcase will be held on Thursday, January 29, from 4pm to 7pm at the Wimberley Community Center. Attendees are encouraged to stop by to review the plans, ask questions, and share feedback.
The effort is designed to protect the community we love, preserve Wimberley’s unique character, and plan responsibly for future growth and resources.
