Thanks for Making the KWVH Derby Day Party A HUGE Success!
Saturday's KWVH Kentucky Derby Party Presented by Ozona Bank had it all -- horses, hats, mint juleps, Star Wars characters, and most of all -- FUN! Thanks to everyone for attending, volunteering, underwriting, and contributing -- all to make the party the Wimberley Valley's premier shindig.
It was also an incredibly successful fundraiser for your very own community radio station. Donations are still coming in and numbers are still being tallied, but it's safe to say that this Derby party will go down as the largest fundraiser in KWVH history.
Your support helps us to complete our tower project, replenish our emergency funds, and continue providing hyper-local information, entertainment, and Texan sports to the Wimberley Valley.
The slideshow above (photos by Hannah Thomas) is just a glimpse into the party -- visit KWVH's Facebook and Instagram pages to see more of the festivities.

Texan Baseball Takes Home the Bi-District Championship!

Meanwhile, the Boys Golf team got it done last week, with a second place team win and an individual state championship by Jaxon Donaldson.
