More Wimberley Holiday Happenings

The holiday fun never stops in the Wimberley Valley! On Saturday from 830 to 11am, you and the kiddoes can have Breakfast with Santa at the Texan Academy at 400 Green Acres Drive.
The fun-filled morning features pancakes and sausage, crafts, a book giveaway, music, and a visit with jolly old Saint Nick. The Wimberley Community Civic Club sponsors the event, and you can register at their website.
The KWVH crew will be there, too, so make sure you stop by and say hello. Wimberley Valley Radio will be broadcasting nonstop Christmas music beginning at 6am Christmas Eve, all day and night through Christmas Day. Let KWVH be your holiday soundtrack!
Wimberley Hoops are HOT!

A big congratulations to the boys basketball team, who won the North Shore Tournament by beating Burleson 49-24 and extending their winning streak to 13. They face Navarro at home tomorrow night at 7:30pm.
The girls won over the weekend as well, defeating the Teague Lions 44-36. They'll play Cornerstone Christian tomorrow night at 6:30pm.
Let's GO, Texans!

VFW Post 6441 and KWVH
Salute Our Veteran of the Week

VFW Post 6441 and KWVH salute Radioman First Class Alan Kimball of the United States Navy. From 1964 to 1970, Kimball served on both coasts, sailing the Caribbean, the Atlantic, and the Pacific—always “the first to know” as a dedicated Navy radioman.
After his service, and with a college degree in hand, he spent more than 20 years as a reporter, chasing stories with the same commitment he showed in uniform.
For the past 36 years, Alan Kimball has called Wimberley home, where he’s built an
award-winning writing career as both a fiction and non-fiction author.
