Coach and the gang continue to attract top musicians to the Wimberley Valley and the KWVH Fishbowl.
This Wednesday it's Jimmie Vaughan, considered royalty in the Austin blues/rock scene. He gained fame as a founding member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, contributing to the revitalization of blues music in the 1980s. Known for his soulful playing style and deep connection to the blues tradition, Vaughan continues to inspire generations of musicians worldwide.
Tune in from 9am to 11am every weekday morning for great live and local music on Over Easy with Coach. And this Wednesday, be sure to bring a lawn chair to watch Jimmie Vaughan live from the patio.
Show Feature: Rootin' Around with Mike August
You can find great roots music, Americana, and Texas favorites on KWVH weekend programming, too.
Mike August is a longtime veteran of radio and TV, so it only made sense for him to launch his show, "Rootin' Around," which airs Saturdays from 5pm to 7pm. It's a unique show that features five songs curated by notable musicians and local Wimberleyites (Wimberlians?). Mike also has a fun segment where he plays only cover songs.

Wimberley Texan Boys Golf Goes to State
Hats off to the Texan boys golf team, who qualified for the 4A State Tournament. Senior Jaxon Donaldson led the team and won the regional title with a jaw-dropping 14 under par. They'll compete in Kingsland on April 29-30 for the state title. Go Texans!
