John McGimsey

John spent over 21 years in the telecommunications industry with a focus on Customer Support, Retention Training, and Project Management before transitioning to his own private business in 2008 primarily focused on fly fishing (J. Thompson Outdoors, Inc.). He currently produces the “Far Side” Morning show which gives him first-hand exposure to running a radio station in real time, and hopes to utilize his experience in project management to assist with the many projects currently planned. John’s goals for KWVH include growing our listener base, while helping the station continue to improve it’s value to our awesome community.
