David Glenn

David came to Wimberley in 1993, and after living next to Cypress Creek, he became a “recovering oil finder who changed his mineral of choice from black gold (oil) to blue gold, water’! Under the mentorship of Bill and M.F. Johnson, David was taught the “Wimberley Way of Volunteerism”. When Jacob’s well first dried up in 2000, he founded the Hays Trinity Aquifer Advisory group of geologists, cavers, and other concerned citizens to address the issue. Similarly, KWVH has its roots in harnessing volunteers after the 2015 Memorial Day Flood, and continues to primarily operate on the Wimberley Way of Volunteerism. David joined the KWVH Board in 2022 to promote and support the continuation of that effort. He serves on the Volunteer Coordination Committee and would love to talk to anyone about volunteering at the radio station!
