On August 4 2021, KWVH was awarded the prestigious Bonner McClane Excellence in Community Service Award by the Texas Association of Broadcasters. This award is named for Bonner McClane, a Texas radio hall of fame member and president of the TAB, remembered for galvanizing radio and TV stations and their commitment to service in local communities state wide.
