Salwa Khan

Salwa Khan, PhD, is an educator, video and media producer, and host for the Mothering Earth program, available on KWVH, on the Pacifica radio network, and on podcast platforms. Mothering Earth focuses on environmental and health issues that affect us all.

 

Salwa’s media background is as a writer, producer and video editor for the PBS NewsHour, CNN and NBC and for educational and museum clients. She taught media and documentary video production to students at Texas State University, where she also worked with university faculty developing and producing video for their courses.

 

She is an experienced organic gardener, a dedicated environmentalist and enthusiastic bike-rider. Salwa has lived in Wimberley since 1991 and has previously served on the board of KWVH. 


